[CECAD NEWS] Fresh water for drought and saline areas of the Mekong Delta

Drought and saline intrusion are currently a burning problem for the Mekong Delta when having major impacts on people’s lives in this area. Therefore, solutions to adapt to drought and saltwater intrusion presently are extremely important to support people to have a stable and sustainable life. VTV1 has broadcasted the current situation of drought and saline intrusion in the Mekong Delta in recent years and solutions that are implemented to cope with drought and saline intrusion by local government and the Center for Environment and Community Assets Development (CECAD) through the project titled “Strengthening Communication Capacity for Better Climate Resilience in the Mekong River Delta (CCBCR)” funded by the Embassy of Finland.
