FLC 20-02: Online training: Capacity building for communication officers of government agencies on communication skills on saline intrusion
On October 28th 2021, CECAD in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Phu Tan commune and the People’s Committee of Kieng Phuoc Commune, organized an online training course on “Capacity building for communication officers of government agencies on communication skills on saline intrusion”. The training is within the framework of the project ” Strengthening Communication Capacity for Better Climate Resilience in the Mekong River Delta” funded by the Embassy of Finland. The training course was organized successfully, with the active participation and enthusiastic response of local officials, village heads and local people in Kieng Phuoc and Phu Tan communes.
During the training, the participants stated about local communication activities, the main communication channels and forms used locally as well as the difficulties in communication activities that they are facing. right. Participants also expressed the usefulness of the training course for local officials at the commune level.
After the training course, the participants gained basic knowledge about communication, steps and notes when carrying out communication activities and to improve the effectiveness of local communication.
