FLC 20-02: Training on Integrating Saline Intrusion and Drought Adaptation Plan into the Socio-Economic Development Plan

Within the framework of the FLC 20-02 project, CECAD cooperates with the People’s Committee of Phu Tan Commune, Tan Phu Dong District and the People’s Committee of Kieng Phuoc Commune, Go Cong Dong District, Tien Giang Province to organize an online training course on Integrating Saline Intrusion and Drought Adaptation Plan into the Socio-Economic Development Plan in early November 2021.

The training course was guided by MA. Nguyen Anh Dung – Policy Development Specialist, with more than 20 years of experience. The course aims to support participants gaining knowledge and skills to implement Planning Integrated Socio-Economic Development Adaptation to Saline Intrusion and Drought according to Circular No. 05/2016/TT-BKHĐT of the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued June 6, 2016 on guiding the integration of natural disaster prevention and control into socio-economic and sectoral planning and development. The training course was organized the People’s Committee officials and heads of villages in Phu Tan and Kieng Phuoc commune.
